This guest post was written by @Emarcellus7 about a tool called Peardeck. Peardeck is an online presentation and formative assessment tool that comes from the perspective of inquiry and social learning theories. With this tool, you can upload a Google Slides or Powerpoint presentation or create your own! Peardeck is a useful tool because it allows teachers to embed questions into their presentations and view responses from every student live! Formative assessment is critical in the classroom because it informs further instruction by showing what students understand and where they need more scaffolding.
This presentation was created by two preserivce teachers, @Olivia_Buirge and @RachelMarieLent . They reviewed with us how to use each tool, the features, and how to save/publish the work.
