If you missed teacher tech Thursday last week - you missed a lot of lovely literacy resources! We had a huge crowd too including about seven education majors and two practicing teachers. This session was a lead by two students in #educ204toi at GCC @TiptonAn1 and @ChoiHx1 . Both students are studying to be elementary education majors. They did a fantastic job telling us all about the tool, how it can be used in the classroom, demonstrating it, and of course, giving us time to play with each tool.
Below is the emaze presentation that was created to show during this session. The biggest hit of this session was Epic tool that is like Netflix for books. Most of the tools listed below are FREE or have a teacher account / discount code. Some tools that are listed are tools that students can use to create their own books and stories and even print them!
The students presented several literacy tools plus some bonus tools listed below:
What are some of your go-to literacy tools in your classroom? Please share in the comments below.
I write about edtech in action, random tools I find, and reflections upon teaching and learning.
